About Us
HACEMOS is . . The Hispanic/Latino Employee Association of AT&T

a non-profit, non-partisan organization open to active and retired employees of AT&T. The organization's main purpose is to foster an environment where people support and encourage each other to succeed professionally, personally, and in the community.

For example, when an employee relocates to a city with an HACEMOS chapter, the organization can serve that employee in getting acquainted with new people at work in learning about the community. In addition, the employee will have the opportunity to meet and hear speakers who address HACEMOS meetings each month, and to participate in chapter activities.
Historia
HACEMOS started in 1988 when the National Governing Board (NGB) was formed. The governing board is composed of the National Executive Board and the chapter presidents. The NEB (National Executive Board) is composed of the National President, the Execitive Vice President - Operation, the Executive Vice President - Communication, the Executive Vice President - Finance, the Executive Vice President - Membership and the Executive Vice President - Historian. In addition, each region of the country has a regional president and the four Regional Presidents form part of the NEB. The purpose of the NEB-NGB is to lend assistance to HACEMOS' chapters to assure the organization as a whole works for the same objectives.
HACEMOS primary objectives are:
(1) To promote the strengths of its members.
(2) To assist AT&T in reaching its goals.
